I love the self-exploration that comes with painting. Each painting is a new opportunity to delve into oneself, similar to jumping into a body water. I get inspired by moments; joy, bliss, quiet beauty, dancing light, or contemplation. Whether a person, a dog, or a tree, I try to capture the essence of my subject. Finding beauty and exploring it through paint is one of my favorite journeys...to embrace the ocean within, and go for a swim.
